Hello, I bought iPhone 7 yesterday after I fully charged it and i checked the battery health maximum capacity it is showing 90% but peak performance is showing Your battery is currently supporting normal peak performance capacity, is the capacity of the battery good? as you can see from the screenshot below.

If it's an Apple Store phonr it should be 99-100% or take it back.
This may be a class A used phone.
Look in Settings, About, Limited warranty. If it is genuine new then it would have a warranty expiring 12 months after you activated it.

If this phone is 1 to 2 years old that 90% would be normal. Get Apple to replace battery at 80% but only if it is causing a problem.
The iPhone 7 was discontinued in September of 2017. It's been sitting on the shelf for quite a while.
I would consider returning it and purchasing an iPhone se instead.

FWIW I bought a new iphone7 at start of lock down from big UK Apple seller.
100% battery and apple warranty til next March.

Yep Some resellers and carriers still have them in stock. Some of the 2nd and 3rd tier carriers in the US are giving away an iPhone 7 when you activate a line of service.

Ok i think i'm going to change to SE or XR, SE is the latest phone right?
In a nutshell, the 2020 SE is an iphone 8 with iphone 7 metal body and much more powerful processor, slightly better cameras etc
and least expensive of all the modern iphones
