voicemail issue Iphone X

unable to setup voicemail on iphone X with iOS 13.5.1, getting error " Error performing request Unknown Error."

Voicemail is a feature of your wireless plan. If you're unable to set it up then you need to contact your wireless carrier as they have complete control over it.

Voicemail is activated with my Wireless plan. I am using with dial Voice Mail number then retrieve voicemail messages . But unable to access with phone app > voicemail .getting above error.
