We do not have sufficient information to reset your security questions

Hello,

About 10 years ago I had an IPhone. Back then I created Apple ID and used it. I stopped using the IPhone for quite a while.

About 5 years had passed and I had a MacBook on one of my previous jobs. I used the account on that MacBook. Somehow back then, I dont remember now, the account was locked. As I was using Mac occasionally and my main workstation was Windows neglected this.

Now I have MacBook Pro on my other job. I want to login with my old Apple ID. I have forgotten the password and security questions and the account is locked. The email I registered Apple ID is still my main email and I have access to it.

I tried to reset everything using iforgot. The password reset went fine. But when I try to login with my new password it keeps stubbornly asking me for the stupid security question which I never remember and d o n t c a r e a b o u t. When I try to reset them it tells me "We do not have sufficient information to reset your security questions".

I live in Belarus. It is country bordering with Russia which exists for about 30 years by now. About 10 mln people live there. Still Apple does not provide an option in the support when choosing "your country". Belarus is missing.

So... Can you please be so kind to help me reset these security questions.

Thank you.

Given Apple's security system, your security questions cannot be reset at this point. See If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201485

By saying "we don’t have sufficient information to reset your security questions," Apple has notified you that you can't answer your security question satisfactorily. So see Security and your Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201303

This document says “without proof of your identity via security questions and other carefully selected criteria, Apple Support can't help you reset a password or perform any other actions on your account.”

Thus, given Apple's notification, we can do nothing to help you, except to mention that Apple support might help you if you have an extenuating circumstance (e.g., you have your receipt for your purchase of a pertinent device from an authorized Apple seller with its serial number on it). If you want to contact Apple Support to discuss any possible extenuating circumstance, see the support options below. Alternatively, if an Apple Store is open in your area, then you can go there to deal with your extenuating circumstance. You also can make a genius-bar appointment (https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/) if you want.

Are you aware that we are not authorized to make any changes to you account. Only Apple support can help you. I should have given you this link earlier. I knew what you said about Belarus but forgot to post only this support link. Apple Support Twitter https://twitter.com/AppleSupport. I hope you can access it. And, note that there may be a wait.
