Comma and dot are in uppercase (!) in Russian layout. How to propose Apple to move it to lower case?
Hello fellows! I would like to make a pproposition to Apple that they would never be aware of otherwise:
Comma and dot are in uppercase (!) in Russian layout. One must press <Shift> + <6> or <Shift> + <7> accordingly to place a comma or dot. No other way possible in Russian layout. Can u imagine that? Imagine that placing a comma takes TWO keys pressed and both hands because one cannot press shift an reach <6> and <7> keys. Yes, its true... (Furthermore! For uknown reasons on the keyboard they are drawn in LOWER case that is not true - one still needs a <Shift> pressed to place it!)
This curse follows Russian keyboard layont from late XIX century from the early typewriters. Engineers followed tradition - Apple provided russian users with ">", <]> and <ъ> in lower case (the last symbol is used 3 times a year by normal person) - but they curse of upper case comma and dot continues!
Deat apple engineers! PLEASE MOVE COMMA AND DOT TO LOWER CASE IN RUSSIAN LAYOUT! I cant take upper case comma anymore! I don't need <]> so much to have a separate key for it! I want dot and comma in lower case! At lease side by side with SHIFT to be able to place it with 1 hand press!!
Love u! Hope to see Russian layout salvation during my liftime!
