iTunes stuck on "Accessing iTunes Store ..."

I’ve made sure everything is up to date. And iTunes Store is working and connecting to the iTunes Store just fine in another user on my computer but for some reason my iTunes isn’t connecting or working on my main user

iMac, macOS 10.13

I see that you're having some trouble with the iTunes Store connecting.


Follow through these steps to see if it helps: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - Apple Support.


Since the issue with iTunes connecting occurs in the main user account, but not another user's account, the problem could be related to the settings or files in your main account. There could be a login item causing the issue. Take a look at these steps to remove login items and see if it resolves the issue. Follow the steps for that here: If your Mac has a blue screen or other startup problems - Apple Support. The title of the article is for a different issue, but the primarily focus is the steps to remove the login items on your main account.
