What is others in the storage system mean? Because mine has 48GB of my space?!

When you scroll down on the storage system there is system and others? My question is what is others and how do I clear it? Because it taking most of my space (48GB)on my phone

“Other” is all storage not otherwise included in the colored categories. It may, for example, include miscellaneous files no longer in use, caches, previously streamed videos and music, etc. (And occasionally a corrupted file that can't be deleted.) The easiest way of clearing Other is to Restart your device.

Remember, not everything in ”Other” is useless junk, but there is a more drastic step. It works if you have corrupted files on your device because backups don't include ”other” files. Make a fresh sync and backup before starting.
