It should show on the Mac, is it setup as IMAP & not POP?
It should show on the Mac, is it setup as IMAP & not POP?
Where does it tell me how it's set up & how do I change if I need to
In Mail>Preferences>Accounts, right under the name of the account on the left.
How to change depends on who the provider is.
Thank you for your help, it's set up as an IMAP account, is that what it should be
Yes, IMAP s what you want. :)
So where on gMail did you create these folders? In another Folder?
Even though they really are not folders just have different tags.
I don't really remember I think I created the folder in Mail, & when I opened gmail the folder was there, so I deleted it in Mail
Deleting them in Mail should delete then the server, & vice versa.
What do you think I can do, do you think I should create them again? if so in gmail or mail?
Start by creating one in the Gmail server for a test.
Thank you for your help. I've just created a folder in gmail for a test, should I close & re-open mail? because it's not showing up
Yes.
The folder that I created in gmail worked, so how do I get the previous folder, that wasn't showing up, to show up
I replied to you before to tell you the folder I created in mail worked, it did but it has no emails in it, can you tell me why
It won't have any eMails in unless you move Mails to it either Manually or by making a Rule to move them.
