Microsoft Office for iPadOS doesn’t exist per-se, but there are a number of individual Microsoft Apps available from Apple App Store that provide a significant proportion of the functionality found in the corresponding desktop counterparts.
Available Apps from Microsoft include:
Word
Excel
Powerpoint
OneNote
Outlook
This is not an exhaustive list.
There is a Microsoft Office App for iPhone (not iPad) - but this is designed exclusively for iPhone - and, crucially, the Office App is a very “cut-down” alternative to installing the individually available Apps.
All the Microsoft Apps are covered by your existing Office365 Subscription if you have one. Without an active O365 Subscription, functionality is highly limited; devices with screen sizes over 10.1”, without an active subscription, are limited to viewing existing documents only (no editing or document creation).
