Apple TV subscription free with new device purchase

I saw a promotion for a year’s subscription to Apple TV when you purchase an Apple device. Bought my son an iPhone last month. Does this qualify me for that promotion and if so, how do I redeem it?

He'll have to claim it on his phone using the Apple TV app, unless you have another apple device using the same ID.
