MacBook Air 13"

I have purchased a new MacBook Air 13" but will not be able to set it up for a few months. Is this likely to cause any problems and what precautions should I take?

Assuming you bought it direct from Apple you have 14 days from purchase to return the computer. If you don’t open it and start using it you’ll lose that window if it turns out there’s a problem. If you aren’t going to use it I’d recommend returning it before that window closes and then purchase it when you can actually use. it.
