If I request the iphone repair box to send my phone and do not end up sending my phone, do I receive a refund?

Apple doesn't charge upfront for repairs. What you likely have is an estimate for the repairs. Once they receive the phone, they will confirm what needs to be repaired or replaced and give you the final cost.
If they already performed some repairs, you will not get a refund for the work already done.
