Siri only seems to work with my iPhone SE's internal microphones (iOS 13.5.1). Shouldn't it work with wired earbuds that have a built-in mic? Voice recording works, phone calls work, but Siri doesn't seem to be able to hear me through the wired earbud's microphone.

When you have a wired (or even a bluetooth earbuds/headphones) earbuds connected to your iPhone then Press and hold the center Earbud button for a second or two to activate Siri. You can then proceed with Siri once you hear the confirmation.

It would be better if it worked with voice, rather than having to push a button. I use it while riding a bicycle or motorcycle, and I would rather use voice to wake Siri. Surely this is possible with any wired or wireless external mics if AirPods can do it.
