How do I change my billing address phone number without deleting my payment method?

Reviewing my Apple ID on my computer it shows an old phone number (that I wish to change) under the billing address of one of my cards and it says you can change it from your phone or iTunes. I went to the Wallet & Apple Pay section on my phone and it does allow me to change my billing address for that card but it doesn't show the old phone number that is visible on the Apple ID Manage your account section on my computer, so how do I change it without deleting my card? because that would end my subscriptions.

See Set up your Apple ID payment method and shipping address on Mac https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/set-apple-payment-method-shipping-address-mac-mchl29cac995/mac. "You use Payment & Shipping preferences to change the payment and shipping information associated with your Apple ID."

And on an iPhone use Settings > Name/Apple ID > Payment & Shipping

See if anything here helps.

Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there. Or you can click the blue Edit payment methods in the article below. When signed in and the page loads, you will be on the credit card page. After updating that, click the Go Back button at the lower left and you will be on the address page.

Apple ID payment information - change.
