I can’t seem to update my watch to the 6.2.6 for some reason. Have tried restarting watch and phone and it can’t seem to make it work.

My watch will not update I"m trying to pair my watch with my phone (series 3). As soon as I try to pair it alerts me that there is an update to install. I proceed with upgrade with watch on charger and phone connected to WiFi. I have tried this for a solid 3 hours know and I it is not happening. All I am getting is downloading to watch... and an estimated time remaining.... Watch face just has the kaleidoscope image and tells me to continue set up on iPhone. I'm just not getting anywhere. Anybody have an tips????
