return engraving ipad air and airpods

There was a time when engraved items were not eligible for return, but that may have changed. We are all users on this user to user forum, so you should contact Apple and ask them for a definitive answer.

Still, I'd check with Apple directly.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product with the original receipt and original packaging within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase. The following additional restrictions apply to these returns:

• If the item is returned in the original box with included accessories, we will exchange it or offer a refund.
• Opened software, memory, and other media can be exchanged for the same item, but cannot be returned for a refund.
• Custom-configured products, including personalized iPads, cannot be returned or exchanged.

I am not sure if they classed engraving as customer configured

Well , the only way you can return an engraved Apple product is if Apple determined that i was dead on arrival , usually the funds payed for the device is not refunded but exchanged .
