If the options to enable or disable Sticky Keys via the shift key was checked, pressing the shift key five times will also turn off Sticky Keys.
I will be back to the computer later this evening and will try this.
I hope I’m using the proper terminology. The character that each key shows, is not the character that is typed when pressed. It’s all sorts of different characters and symbols for each key rather than the letter as indicated.
Not sure how this different keyboard got turned on, but I am unable to log in as a user obviously - since the keys don’t type my actual keystrokes.

Open Accessibility preferences, scroll down and select Keyboard from the list. Click on the button in the right display to disable Sticky Keys.
