Connect Dell 1133 printer to iMac?

Can a Dell 1133 printer be used with an iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017)? I've download the printer driver; but when I try to add the printer, I'm get this message: "Software for this printer isn't available from Apple. Contact the printer's manufacturer for the latest software." I can't find anything about this software at Dell.

If Dell does not support the version of Mac OS installed, you can look for third party solutions. Something like cups.org or http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net either that or it's time to retire the printer and look for another printer.

If the printer supports networking you can also attempt to print using the network connection Apple provides. You can learn about that in https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/add-a-printer-on-mac-mh14004/mac , you will want to look in the section called Add a network printer by its IP address

Good luck!
