Hi all,
I'm currently trying to import photos from the photos app to Final Cut Pro. For some reason, I'm not seeing the photos option. Does anyone know why this would be the case?
MacBook Pro 13”, macOS 10.15
One other thing: go to System Preferences->Security & Privacy->Privacy, and check that Final Cut Pro is there and is checked, as having access to Photos:

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences.
The application will start in a default state, and open an “Untitled” library.
Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

Try deleting preferences.
If the problem persists, drag the application to the trash and download a fresh copy from the App Store.
Thanks for the suggestion, are you able to tell me where the plist file for Final Cut is located?
Are you using the release version of the application or the trial version?
Thanks for this Luis. Unfortunately after deleting the preferences and doing a full app reinstall, my issue remains. Not sure why this is happening.

Release version 10.4.8 is what I'm using.
Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
