Google won’t search in safari

When I try to search in google in safari it opens yahoo. It’s infuriating.

Yahoo is taking over google on safari? How to fix this? Every time I go onto safari and try to go onto google it automatically changes to the yahoo search engine. How do I fix this in order to have google search engine to work again?

It sounds like your default search engine somehow got changed to Yahoo. Try going into Safari Preferences > Search tab > Search Engine --you can change this to a few different things, including setting in back to Goggle.
