Facetime - microphone access not requested

Hi, I have an iPad Air 2 with 13.5.1

The microphone works on the iPad for voice memos but does not work for Facetime. When you go to privacy and see list of apps that have requested access to microphone, facetime is not listed. I can't see an option to remove restrictions. have tried deleting and reinstalling facetime. Facetime needs to request access to microphone but no idea how to achieve that.

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
