Proof of purchase

I purchased an iPhone X from Argos in January 2019. My current insurance provider has asked me for proof of purchase with the IMEI number on it, I have the proof of purchase via email from Argos but no IMEI number on there can you please help me with this.

iPhone IMei number I’ve recently sold my old iPhone on eBay. I think the person who has received it is trying to send me back a different phone which is damaged. I never wrote down my IMei Number but I did have AppleCare and it’s still running so is there a way I can get my number

No, sorry.

Contact the seller again and ask them to write your IMEI and/or Serial number on their receipt/invoice.
