up grade help

have a 2010 imac desk top safari need to get to 10.12 or higher from 10.10 5 and maybe up grade to mojave or el capitan . is mine even a emac or iMac?? help, thanks

The last version of Mac OS that a 2010 will run is 10.13.6. Your Mac should have a bare minimum of 8GB of RAM however if you can get 16 GB or more installed in it that is what I'd recommend. Current verisons of Mac OS require more RAM. Simply visit the Mac App Store and download 10.13.6.


However considering the advanced age of the computer, you probably should be considering replacing the computer.
