Isolate Windows machine on the same network

I'm having a guest come to stay shortly who has an old Windows laptop which he will want to connect to my WiFi network.

a) How can I prevent file sharing (inadvertent or otherwise)?

b) Is there any risk of malware which may be present on his machine infecting my iMac or various iPads and iPhones connected to the same network?

Thanks in anticipation of your help.

You have to grant permission to someone to have them get access to your data. One simple method is if your router has the ability to setup a guest network, then do so and have the guest use that network. That way they cannot even see your computer assuming you are on a different network.

Also, of course ensure your login has a secure password too.
