My six year old Ipad has de-activated itself. Can you help me reactivate it? The Ipad is unresponsive to any programs. It loads and displays date, then after I swipe it shows a blank screen with a message of. . .
It may take a few minutes to activate your ipad. It has been four days! What is one to do.

Try a forced restart and see what happens. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo on the screen at which time you can release the buttons. The iPad should boot up. Then see if you can proceed with the activation and set up.

Ipad has reactivated thanks to pushing down on the camera button and holding that down along with the mute button. Who knew?! Thanks for trying.
