unlocking iPhone after i moved my number to new network

i have an old iPhone 6s that i want to use again but its locked to my old network, however i have already moved my phone number to my new network so its no longer associated with the old network, how can i unlock my iPhone 6s to use only new network if the phone number is no longer associated ?

No Apple does not unlock iphones. Only the carrier they are locked to can unlock them offically and permanently.


Any third party unlock attempts are generally hacks which are undone if you ever reset your device, or decide to update the iOS version its running, so not a good idea.


Contact your original carrier, and ask them to unlock it. If you were a customer of theirs in good standing, they should have no issue in unlocking it for you.
