iPhone not uploading photos

I’ve enabled icloud storage on my iphone which has 3,000+ pictures, and it is not uploading to iCloud. I have the phone on WiFi, I have the 200Gb icloud account, I’ve enabled/disabled/re-enabled icloud for the photos app but I don’t see the photos being uploaded

I have the same problem with photos not uploading. In my case the bottom of iCloud photos says "615 Photos, 11 Videos Updated 3:24 PM" (today). I have over 1700 photos on my iPhone, but it has not uploaded any more since yesterday. Please advise. Is there a way to force a syncronization?

I’m looking at the photos app on my iPad Pro, and also on iCloud.com. It seems to be uploading from the iPhone but very slowly. On the iPhone it does show that it’s uploading and gives the option to Pause... but my internet connection isn’t so slow on upload to justify how slow the upload is happening. I can’t really see any sort of status of the upload on the iPhone, all I can say is that it’s too slow.

I guess I’ll just wait until tomorrow to see where it’s at

I am experiencing the same issue with my daughter's iPhone 7. We upgraded her iCloud account to 50gb, but they 2.6gb of photos that were on her iCloud account before the upgrade remains the same. There is no indicator that any uploading is happening, and there is no increase in gb of photos stored despite two overnights of possible uploading time. We have the optimize iPhone storage option selected, and there is plenty of room on the new 50gb plan for her 12 or so gb of iPhone photos... We do have a slower connection, but there remains no indication that there is any progress whatsoever. We sign into iCloud on our Mac, and the total of pictures on her account stopped uploading well back in June with only 732 pictures, while there are some 4000 or so on her phone awaiting upload.
