Cannot free up storage!!

Hi, I am attempting to update my watch Series 3. However I can not free up sufficient amount of storage. I’ve looked at the usage and photos is taking up 1.1GB. However there are no photos being synced or in the app.

How could this be fixed? What other ways to free up storage are there?

Unpair your Apple Watch via the Watch app on your iPhone.

Then Re-pair your Apple Watch,this deletes temporary and corrupted files

and also re-indexes the file system freeing up a surprisingly large amount of

storage space.
