Shrill noise in one Airpod Pro

I'm getting a shrill feedback noise in my right Airpod Pro. This is the second time this has happened. Both times, I disconnected and repaired them back to my IPhone. The first time, the right Airpod went back to normal after about a day. The second time, it's gotten better, but still flares up from time to time.

Both times the shrill started when I was running. I sweat a lot, so my thought was that the sweat was causing it (when it first happens, the audio is inaudible), but the Airpods Pro is supposedly sweatproof. I've cleaned and dried them thoroughly, as well.

It seems that I'm not the only person with this issue. Other than disconnecting and repairing, has anyone else found a fix?
