When opening a Music library via Option key, the preferences of the previously used library are applied
The Apple support page on setting up multiple libraries states, or appears to state.... that you can set Music App preferences saved to each library. Even have different media folders for each.
I set up a second library, all with different file names, including renaming the .library file..... loading completely different music into its new media folder.
When I quit Music and re-open my original library, all the Music App preferences I set for the new library...follow over. INCLUDING the media folder location. ALL preferences set for the new library follow over to the old library.
What's the point of creating a 2nd library if every time you switch, it's set all wrong and pointing at the wrong media folder ??
That also brings up my whole reason for trying to create a second library....trying to protect ONE of them from the Music App auto messing with my files....because I've discovered that when you don't have the auto organize library turned on....any purchases from the iTunes store don't download the art OR any info...you have to manually add all meta data except for the file name :/
This is reproducible and it happens always. Seems to be there is a common cache or something that the Music app looks at when opening the library even via the Option key?
