Messages on iPhone are not backed up on iCloud

Messages app is set to icloud on my iphone 11 iOS 13.5.1 but it does not appear when I go into iCloud.com. How do I get Messages to be include on the iCloud website? thanks

Welcome to the Apple Community.

You can't see messages in the cloud, but if you want to verify they bare there you can do this from manage storage.

Settings ➔ Apple ID(Top) ➔ iCloud ➔ Manage Storage

As Winston said, you can't view messages on iCloud.com.

Thank you. The Manage Storage includes the size (1.3GB) for Messages. this confirms my Messages are backed up to the cloud. Is there a way to view the messages from iCloud.com? I do not see an icon for Messages when I go into iCloud.com. Appreciate the advise.
