Can I trade in locked Iphone X?

I have locked iPhone X, and I need to get a new iPhone, so can I trade in the locked iPhone X with a new one?

If you are trading in to Apple, the older phone does not need to be unlocked from the carrier to qualify.
I don't know what other trade in programs policies are, you should check with them.
