how do i delete an application from my iphone
Touch and hold any app on the Home screen, then tap Edit Home Screen. The apps begin to jiggle. on the app you want to remove, then tap Delete. Tap Done (on an iPhone with Face ID) or press the Home button (on other iPhone models).

Hold your finger on the app lightly. A menu will appear and one of the options will be to delete it. If you hold after the menu appears the icons will start to wriggle. You can also delete it by tapping on the “x” on the icon. A 3rd option is to go to Settings/General/iPhone Storage, tap on the app, then Delete.
If none of these work you have deleting apps disabled in Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions.
None of the above worked. I had earlier disabled " deleting apps" but i am unable to find that information.
