Computer or iPad?

Can you use a iPad instead of a Mac Pro for editing photos and creating graphics? How about working with slide scanning programs?

Yes, you edit photographs using a variety of photo-editing Apps.

Slide Scanning may be more difficult - as 35mm Slides generally need a special Slide Scanner device. Despite many improvements to iPad and iPadOS, support for external devices is still very limitied.
