If your Apple ID account was charged there are only 3 possibilities:

  1. You authorized the charge by purchasing an app or downloaded an app that included a subscription
  2. Someone you share an Apple ID with did the above
  3. Your Apple ID has been hacked. See this Apple support article if you think that is the answer—>If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support

How did you find out about this charge? If it appeared on your card or bank statement or website see this Apple support article—>If you see "apple.com/bill" or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support

If you got an email saying you were charged make sure it came from Apple and wasn’t a scam—>Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

You can also check your purchase history to see if you were actually charged—>See your purchase history for the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

One or more of the above will determine what happened after you research the issue.
