can any one suggest me the complete installation process of kali linux in macbook pro 2018. and which method is good dual boot or virtualBox for mac.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

I don't believe any of the current Linux distributions have the necessary hardware drivers by default to work on 2016+ Apple laptops especially one with a T2 chip. It may be possible to get the drivers, but it would be a complicated & involved process to actually install Linux on one of these computers.


I also don't recommend anyone dual booting a system especially while sharing the boot drive. It is just asking for trouble since it almost always results in the system becoming unbootable or the data inaccessible when changing the partition layout to and from another OS. Installing a third party OS to an external drive is much safer, but still a bit risky.


Using a VM is the preferred method as it won't cause macOS boot issues or cause you to lose access to your macOS data. Besides dual booting to access something in the other OS is a pain.
