My phone has got ink on the top right but it isn't cracked or broken

if you have what looks like "black liquid" then it may well be cracked on one of the internal layers. Excess pressure or a drop will break internals as well as the outer glass

Sounds like you pilled something on the device.

There is no ink used in making an iPhone.
