I lost my sound from my Mac
macOS 10.15.5 (19F101
Mac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015)
3.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7
16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 1536 MB
When I play any sound files or video I get no audio.
When I do video conference call they can hear me but I can not hear them.
I checked in system preferences and sound everything is checked but no sound.
Can you help me with this?
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
