how to delete or edit contacts not in my contact list

How do I delete or edit contacts not in my contact list but show up when I try to send an email to that contact. The address that comes up is not the one in my list

If there is an “I” in a circle on the right side of this suggested person, tap it and select “Remove from recents”.
