How do I add my iPad to my iCloud account?

How do I add my iPad to my iCloud storage ? My iPad storage is full I have an upgraded plan on my phone and want to add all my devices.

You cannot add a device to your iCloud storage. When you purchase iCloud storage, it's for all your devices, and if your devices are low on storage, you cannot add it to the iCloud storage plan.

If the iPad is itself low on storage, then unfortunately there's nothing you can do, and adding the family share plan will not mitigate this.
