I need to trade an Iphone6 to ATT. They require all MDM locks removed so the phone can be processed for trade-in. I have never enrolled in MDM. Does that mean I'm ok to return the phone? It will meet ATT's requirements?

I have never registered for MDM. If ATT "requires removal of MDM locks" for trade in, can I assume I don't have an MDM to unlock or disable?

iPhone 6s, iOS 13
