Hacked? Suspicious Screen-recording in photos

Today around 4:30 I went for a boat ride and left my phone on the dock with my dad. Nobody else was around and my dad confirmed he did not touch my phone. When I got back I Opened my phone and later went to post on Instagram. I noticed there was an odd video in my photos so I opened my photo app to watch it. The video is a screen recording from 4:48pm containing the following:

-opening a snapchat conversation and typing letters

-searching through my recently deleted photos, and normal photos.

-turning on the flashlight

-locking the phone, failing the Touch ID twice, then “robotically” typing in my passcode

-clearing the photo app, entering snapchat, then ending the recording.

there is absolutely no way any of this was me, or my dad, or any physical person. The typing in of the passcode was so slow, I didn’t do any of these actions today, and I certainly know enough about using my phone to not accidentally screen record.

so my question is HOW THE HE** did this happen and what do I do to prevent this in the future.

.

some disclaimers- I’m generally smart about using websites, I don’t try to download sketch stuff, I don’t have any sketchy apps, heck I’ve run my pc for 5 years with zero antivirus and I haven’t gotten a single pop-up ad. So I guarantee this is not some email or link I accidentally clicked on. I google searched for an hour and failed to find anyone who had this same thing happen to them. So please someone tell me wtf is happening.

Nevermind this post. I’m embarrassed. My dad has found my passcode written down and googled how to screen record so he could prank me. I feel stupid now.

cant figure out how to delete this post from the mobile site.
