I have a iPad Pro 12.9” 1st generation with Smart Keyboard. The Smart Keyboard does not always work and need to purchase New keyboard to suit the 1st generation iPad. The newer keyboards to not work as the contact points have been moved to the back on the updated keyboards/iPads.
Apple doesnt sell keyboard for the iPad Pro 1st gen, you will need to look at somewhere like Amazon or ebay
