The lyric button is disabled on iTunes music

Thank you for the additional information regarding your device.

You will need to have an active subscription to Apple Music to be able to utilize the lyrics feature.

• If you subscribe to Apple Music, you can read lyrics in the Apple Music app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV, or Android device; or in iTunes for Windows on your PC.
• Make sure that you have the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, iTunes for Windows, and tvOS; or the latest version of the Apple Music app on your Android device.
• To see lyrics, you need an Internet connection."

We understand from your question that you are unable to use the lyrics feature on your iPhone. We can certainly help you with this!

Is this issue persisting with all songs or is it just a select few? Are you able to view the lyrics for any given song on another device, like a Mac or PC?

You can also take a look at this article for more information if it's only happening for certain songs:

"If you don't see lyrics or notice inaccurate lyrics

• Lyrics aren't available for all songs. 
• If lyrics are available for a song but you don't see them, make sure that your device is connected to the Internet.
• If you notice incorrect lyrics, you can send Apple Music feedback.

• If you have explicit content turned off, you might not see lyrics that have explicit words. Learn how to turn explicit content on or off with Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or with Screen Time on your Mac.
