Unable to sync movie I just bought on itunes to my ipod classic

I just paid $10 for a movie on iTunes so I could down load it to my iPod classic (160gb latest 2.0.5 software version). I don't do this often, but do every once in a while. I bought the movie, downloaded it, and I can watch it on my desktop Dell Windows 10 fine. But when syncing with my iPod classic, it says it can't do it because of the "high-quality" SD version is not compatible with my iPod classic. I remembered that I have to by SD versions because the iPod classic limitations. 2 years ago I bought an SD movie and all the parameters of that movie are larger than this purchase today and that synced just fine. I tried to use the latest version of handbrake to maybe convert the file to a version my iPod classic could use and it won't open the file for one of 3 reasons, most likely copy write protection or DRM whatever that is. I really wish this was not so difficult and time consuming. I'd really like a fix here.

I Fixed IT Myself. I went it to the edit tab, clicked preferences, and then in the Downloads tab saw that while I had already "unchecked" the "Download full-size HD videos" box, I had NOT "unchecked" the "Download high-quality SD videos" So I "unchecked" that, went back to the movie and clicked on the 3 blue dot circle on the upper right hand side and clicked "remove the download." Looked on File Explorer to see that in fact the movie and folder had been deleted. Then went back to the movie, clicked the little blue cloud download button, and it re-downloaded the movie. Which now syncs with my ipod classic. What a great way to spend a couple hours..........riiiiiight............ BTW - Trying to convert the file so it would download to my ipod classic with handbr*ke or dvdf*b or wondersh*re uniconvert*r was all a waist of time. They don't work completely and/or are not free.
