Problems(? with battery charging.

My computer charges fully up to 100% but if I keep it plugged in for a while (after 100%) the battery starts going down even when plugged in and I have to either try to disconnect it and connect it again or (if that doesn't work) restart S.M.C to make it charge again.

I use it mostly while plugged in since I spend hours working on a desk.

Plugged in but "battery not charging" Macbook Pro 16-in, 2019 Both chargers I use are purchased from Apple. Today, while working as normal, computer slowly dropped to 2% battery over the day and every time I checked it, stated "battery not charging" even though plugged in like normal. Occasionally, it would start charging randomly for a few minutes, gain a few % of battery, then return to "battery not charging". There were no changes to make this happen. And this happened with both cords, which are both brand new apple products. WTF DO I DO? How do I find out what the problem is? How do I fix this?

2019 Battery Charging Issue-MacBook Pro I have a 2019 MacBook Pro 15 inch and it will not charge the battery past 1%. The battery icon has an "X" through it. Since it won't charge, once I remove the charging cable the Mac shuts off. Can anyone help with this issue. Also, I read an article that after 2008 Mac had non-replaceable batteries, is this true? Thanks!

very weird battery and charging activity on macbook pro My macbook was working just fine and was plugged into power. It was on 100% so I took out the charger and once I did, the computer shut down. I managed to turn it back on but now when I plug in the charger it doesn't work. My battery symbol has disappeared from the menu bar, and in system preferences the box that says "show percentage on menu bar" is checked (unchecking and checking it obviously doesn't work). the only place in SP that I can find that says the amount of charge I have is in "energy saver" where it says I have 0% charge, even though the computer is working fine. it's also making a straining sound like it does after you work on it for a long time on heavy files. Ive never seen anything like this before and am at a complete loss of what to do, any help would be appreciated!

Discharging into the low 90% range while your Mac's power adapter is connected is normal behavior intended to maximize the useful life of its battery.
