Shortcuited?

Spilt water on my laptop accidentally. Wiped it up and noticed my Macbook was getting warm, so I shut it down and let it cool down. Now it won't turn on. Did it shortcuit? My laptop is charging. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Laptop shut off So, a week ago I spilt water behind my Macbook air and it shut off not to turn on again until today. It was on for a good 30 minutes with no troubles or problems. Then it just shut off randomly and the spill is dry from the logic board. It's been an hour and it's not turning back on, not to mention it was 78 degrees when it failed. Macbook Pro Got Splashed by water My Macbook pro got splashed with water and automatically turned off for more than a week now, still it won't open. What shall I do? Do I wait until it opens or its already useless? Thank you

Take your computer to an authorized service center for evaluation. Liquid damage often is fatal and can't be repaired.

I was afraid of that. I had this Macbook for more than five years or even more. So it's not a new one luckily
