Apple Music, the monthly subscription service, cannot be used with the iPod classic, nano, or shuffle. This is because they do not have WiFi, and cannot track when your subscription has ended.

Hmm, I wonder if that is why the song I just purchased is nowhere to be found? Apple took my money but there was nothing on the Apple Store about iPod shuffles not being supported. I feel ripped off and will not be purchasing anything else to do with music or movies from Apple. They make everything far too difficult and counter-intuitive.
