iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) - Sound

When I play music on my new iMac, for certain songs, the Bass is very high, as if the speaker is blown. Have tried to adjust the values with the equaliser, but in vain. Overall, the music quality appears to be much inferior to that on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Any suggestions to overcome this issue?
