Fitbit Alta HR won’t sync with iPhone SE 2020

Has anyone else had this problem. iPhone refuses to recognise my device. The app won’t display steps, heart rate or steps. Is this a cunning ploy Apple to buy your fitness tracker?

I have solved the problem. My old phone was still switched on causing a conflict. Paired straight away on the new phone when I switched old phone off. Thanks anyway for the reply.
