Download file location prompt

When downloading files from the internet, i did not find an option where safari would ask me where to download the file. Files are always downloaded to a default folder, which is a terrible bug for anyone who wants to do anything even remotely productive.

Is there a workaround? How can i make safari ask me for a download location?

Generally, file management feels like a massive inconvenience on the ipad pro.

Hello,

Downloads are always automatically saved to the Downloads folder. You can change the location of the Downloads folder in Settings > Safari.
